Saturday and we are up early and ready to go it is surprising how eager we all are when the sun is out to be honest who can be bothered to get out of bed in the dark cold mornings of winter? No one! But nice summer mornings and it regenerates us and we are raring to go. And go we did as we headed west for a special party well we thought it special it was our waitress’s grandmothers 100 birthday and what a lady she is! Very sprite and you would not think her to be 100 as to be fair she puts us all to shame she is up at the crack of dawn what ever the weather and she puts her long life down to a very active life we couldn’t wait to surprise her! Hog roast hire secretly turned up at her daughters residence and everyone but the lady her self were there she was out shopping with her granddaughter, whilst she was away we set the wheels in motion and the bbq plate was fitted as to be honest the pig would have been a bit tough for her dentures! Hog roast decided to make her favourite fish sea food stir fry and some bangers too! when she arrived she was so surprised and she really wasn’t expecting us to be there she had the local press around taking her photo for the local newspaper and all her friends and family had arrived Hog roast hire did her proud as she thoroughly enjoyed the food and she thanked us for a lovely day we all couldn’t stop staring at the card she received from the Queen the first time we ad ever seen one and we all joked wondering if we would ever get one, a smashing day for a lovely lady and we will be returning next year to do it all over again but she will be expecting us and it cant be a surprise as she insisted before we left that we would return now how could we say no never!
