To help make your event a big success, we have interchangeable menus, and you can even create your own if you prefer, so that you can put your own stamp on the food. When Sally and Brian recently called us to ask about catering availability for their wedding anniversary party, they assumed we only offered one kind of food – the mighty hog roast Teversham. While we do offer it, of course, being a hog roast company, we can actually provide our customers with so much more, and Sally and Brian were happily surprised…
If you don’t fancy a pig roasting at your party, you could have a spit roast turkey, chicken, joint of lamb or beef, or even deer if you prefer. You could have a barbecue in addition to your roast or instead of, as our hog roasting equipment has attachments so we can easily cook burgers and sausages for your guests. You may be planning an informal party with hog roast rolls and simple salads or a swanky sit-down formal event with mushroom boucheés, whole salmon, and fruit coulis; we can do it all! Plus if any of your guests have dietary requirements, we can cater for them too.
The couple were happy to order our pigs in buns (what we call our moreish hog roast rolls) and a couple of lovely salads and dressings for their shindig. There would be around 35 guests, so we would provide a smaller pig to roast, and one vegetarian guest who would enjoy one of our tasty homemade quiches.
We arrived at Sally and Brian’s family home on Sunday, ready to roast the pig in the back garden. The party was already in full swing when we got there, so from the time I prepared the hog roast Teversham to the time it was ready, a few hours later, I must have been asked 50 times if it was ‘nearly ready yet’! That’s all down to the wonderful sights and smells a hog roast Teversham provides. By the time it was cooked perfectly, some of the party guests were almost desperate to get a taste, and were jokingly pushing past each other in the queues that started to form. We had more than enough to feed them seconds and more.
