Hog Roast Bourn Knows How To Host A Baby Shower

Over the past few years, we at Hog Roast Bourn have witnessed a growing demand for baby showers, after all, what could be more exciting than bringing a new life into the world?! As more and more people begin to embrace this growing trend, our team have been inundated with requests from expectant parents looking to treat their friends and family to a stunning buffet from one of our delicious catering packages.

After recovering from the surprise of seeing those two red lines, Amanda excitedly started to come up with ideas for a whole list of pregnancy-related celebrations; and on Saturday, Hog Roast Bourn arrived at her home to cook up a spectacular meal for the 75 guests she had invited.

As she had a spectrum of dietary requirements to cater for, Amanda was so pleased when our catering manager told her about the vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives we have on offer, which can be easily incorporated into any of the packages our clients choose. For the main, she had decided to go all out by arranging for us to serve the hog roast dining menu which provides a more formal alfresco experience that has proven a popular choice among new and existing clients alike.

Feeling relieved that she wouldn’t have to cook for the large group, or even handle the washing up, Amanda eagerly anticipated the special day. As the day of celebration neared, Hog Roast Bourn kept the client up to date with the arrangements, giving her the chance to make any last-minute tweaks to the menu which she very much appreciated.

On the day of the party, the catering crew made the short trip to Amanda’s home where they promptly set up the cooking equipment and began preparing the feast. Before long, platters of brightly coloured salads, warm new potatoes and loaded fries stood centred by the visually stunning centrepiece of a whole slow-roasted pig which had been cooked to golden perfection amidst an abundance of savoury stuffing.

Amanda and her guests almost had to scrape their jaws off the floor when they were introduced to the gorgeous spread, but their appetites soon won over which had them racing to fill their plates.
