Maria manages a team of interior designers who work in a business park built around a lovely central courtyard with plenty of green space and picnic benches. At the start of spring, she contacted Hog Roast Wisbech to see if we could provide a delicious lunch for her staff to enjoy in the courtyard, in the sunshine. Our catering manager was more than happy to get involved with this event since our catering is perfect for providing staff with a hearty and filling lunch during the work day. After discussing our menus, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be perfect if accompanied by a few additional dishes, so we got to work on creating the perfect custom menu for the occasion.
On the day of the lunch, the Hog Roast Wisbech team arrived at the courtyard in the morning and got to work on preparing our menu. We started by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once ready, the succulent pork was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we provided BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious plant-based alternative to pork. The mains were accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, a green leaf salad, and a fresh pasta salad, which created a perfectly balanced lunch, with plenty to go around!
