We strive for customer satisfaction each and every time, regardless of the size of your event, the numbers of guests invited or even how formal you’re planning it to be. With a huge array of food options to suit both personal tastes and diets, we often surprise our new customers who think that we only prepare, cook and serve delicious hog roasts. We actually prepare, cook and serve many kinds of meat dishes, including those famous hog roasts, and offer various alternative and additional foods too, if needed.

Hog Roast Oundle

Hog Roast Oundle recently catered a retirement party for an accountant who asked us to cook a traditional hog roast for fifty guests so we could make them pigs in buns. When George booked us in, he also asked us about extra dishes, as he was thinking of something like sweet potato wedges and a salad for his guests to also enjoy. We can cook all kinds of potato dishes, including spicy sweet potato wedges, and we can prepare all types of salad too, like our own coleslaw, a Greek salad or a tomato and mozzarella salad. George asked us for the latter, with it being his own favourite, and said he very much looked forward to the party.

When our Hog Roast Oundle chef and team members arrived at George’s home on the day of his retirement do, we set up our equipment in the large back garden and got to work on the meat. After scoring it all over, adding lots of water and rubbing in plenty of salt, we set the temperature on the hog roasting machine to low and then the pig sizzled away for several hours.

Nearer the time of service, we cooked the wedges inside the machine while the meat roasted away above, prepared the garden-fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, and got the ingredients ready for the pigs in buns. By 4.30pm, all the guests had arrived and they started queuing up for a slice of heaven, and George was first in line!
