Our latest foray into corporate cooking had the Hog Roast Elsworth team providing one of our superb business buffets at a black-tie event where a company had organised an Oscars style awards ceremony!
The event organisers were very impressed with the quality of our locally-sourced ingredients, the scope of our menus and our ability to prepare everything fresh at the venue for their 250 employees. Even if we are cooking on a large scale, the Hog Roast Elsworth team never take short cuts when it comes to the preparation and presentation of our food and we work seamlessly together to ensure every single element is absolutely perfect and served right on time!
We had been asked to provide a selection of our neat, petite and tasty individually handmade canapes, including Peking duck wraps, mini Thai chicken skewers and pate 
encroute, followed by a classic hog roast, organic whole roasted chicken as an alternative meat and tangy feta skewers as the vegetarian option, along with a range of colourful, refreshing salads and hot, buttery potatoes. All of the sides and canapes were expertly prepared by our diligent team whilst our chef was tending to the slow-cooked meats, all ready to be served at the set time specified by hosts. We were asked to split the service up and provide the canapes as the employees arrived for the ceremony, then ensure the main was ready for the finale of the event. This was not a problem for us, as we are completely flexible in our style of service, to suit the occasion!
Without further ado, our own professional waiting staff delivered the nibbles and a glass of fizz to the attendees to whet their appetites for the main course and we then focused on applying the finishing touches to the rest of the meal as the big award ceremony was underway! As promised, we were ready and waiting to welcome the attendees back after the event, some of whom were proudly brandishing trophies for achievements such as teamwork, outstanding performance, and longevity of service. Everyone was made to feel special though, by the efficient Hog Roast Elsworth team as all of diners, winners or not, were rewarded with our delicious corporate catering!
