As we have been in the catering business for more than 20 years now, we understand the great importance of helping to make your event or party a success. We go the extra mile to ensure that you and your guests enjoy wonderful food – for instance, by slow roasting a huge hog in front of you for hours, so that when we carve it, the meat is hot and fresh, with a juicy inside and a crispy outside. We use quality, locally-sourced food from only trusted suppliers and even the salad dishes are prepared fresh at the venue. We really believe in freshness and quality, as well as excellent service.
When we catered Ian and Dina’s engagement party with a hog roast in Madingley a few days ago, it was great to hear so many guests commending us on a job well done. Even when you’re simply doing your job, hearing someone appreciate what you’ve done or how well you have represented your company is, for me, often the highlight of an event.
Ian had called us a few months back, before he had even proposed to Dina, as he was thinking well ahead to the party (he just knew she would say yes, obviously!) He wanted the celebration to be in the summer months and knew it would be a busy time of year, so we knew about the engagement before Dina even did. He knew his bride-to-be would want the grand spectacle of a hog roast in Madingley at their party, and booked us to provide our delicious hog roast rolls, where we put freshly-roasted pork slices and crackling in bread rolls and top with apple sauce and our homemade stuffing, along with a selection of salads and coleslaw.
We arrived at the garden venue ready to cook a large hog for 40 guests, armed with our own hog roast machine, serving table, and a gazebo. The pig roasted for a few hours until it was nice and brown on the outside and glistening with the salty crackling, and the meat inside was tender and moist and ready to be devoured. Ian and Dina were first in line for a pig in a bun and they happily came back for seconds and thirds, just like many of their guests.
