Hog Roast Grantchester’s latest clients were regulars on the team’s books. The clients always turn to the hardworking team because they know what they want and they know how reliable to team are.
The clients were having an intimate wedding anniversary party. Ordinarily they would have liked a larger gathering, but given the unusual events of the year they altered their party to just a small family gathering. The Hog Roast Grantchester team were delighted to be part of the special event.
The clients worked closely with the team to concoct a delicious menu for their buffet dinner. There was plenty of variety for the clients and their 12 lucky guests.
As the serving time was set at 7pm the Catering Manager from the Hog Roast Grantchester team arrived at the client’s home just after midday. There was plenty of space on the client’s driveway to set up the catering gazebo, cooking equipment and the lights. As soon as everything was ready the Chef got straight to work preparing all of the buffet dishes; everything was made by hand in the hours before the serving time.
When the guests and clients filed out of the house to tuck into the buffet at 7pm they were met with a feast fit for royalty. The aromas of fresh cooked meat and all the other dishes was enough to make anyone hungry!
The main attraction at the buffet table was the slow spit roasted turkey which was served with fresh cranberries and delicious sage and onion stuffing. But there was lots of other dishes on offer! There was piping hot jacket potatoes, grilled vegetable skewers and tasty grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. There was also Chefs choice of 3 exciting, fresh salads.
The clients and their guests tucked into the buffet with gusto. Once the buffet had been enjoyed by everyone the Chef discreetly tidied away. All the rubbish, including the disposable crockery and cutlery the team had provided for the guests to use, was packed away and later disposed of responsibly by the team. The event had been very happy and well enjoyed by all.
