If you need any special diets catering, such as vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, just let us know in advance when you book our services, and we’ll see to it that everyone gets to enjoy our food. If you’d like alternative meat dishes served, whether spit-roasted, barbecued or marinated, we can serve any of these instead of or in addition to a hog roast if you prefer. Plus if you’d like a starter, dessert, sides or canapés served too, we have plenty on offer to suit all kinds of palates and appetites.
When Adrian contacted Hog Roast Newmarket to book us for his wife’s birthday party, he had in mind a centrepiece hog roast to feed most of the thirty-five guests with our famously scrumptious pigs in buns (otherwise known as hog roast rolls). Nevertheless, he also needed a vegetarian guest catered with a suitable dish and once he had looked at our menus online, he decided on our highly popular veggie skewers. We make our skewers with fresh chunks of halloumi and a rainbow of vegetables and they are loved just as much as our pigs in buns.
We catered this celebration on Friday evening at Adrian’s home, in the back garden, after roasting a hog for hours on end. While the hog sizzled away, we put together the skewers and grilled them and got ready the ingredients for the pigs in buns, including our own apple sauce and stuffing, and by 7pm, we had a lovely feast ready to serve.
