Having to achieve the right balance between enticing customers to eat at their premises whilst adhering strictly to current hygiene and social distancing requirements is a challenge faced by everyone in the restaurant trade. As a solution to this, premises that are lucky enough to have outdoor space are making the most of it, and restaurant manager Claire, who hired a hog roast machine from us recently, didn’t just want her diners to eat outside, she wanted her staff to be able to cook outside as well. She knew that not everyone is a huge fan of eating outdoors, so she wanted to give her customers an incentive to dine alfresco at her establishment by offering them a fantastic hog roast and the spectacle of having it prepared right in front of them!

She was even more pleased that the Hog Roast Newtown team would deliver it to her premises, assist her chef in setting it up and talk him through all of the operational and health and safety requirements, and then collect it afterwards and take care of cleaning it too!
Claire and her team were delighted with the Platinum’s performance, and both the end result and the entertainment for their customers whilst the food was being prepared made it an unforgettable outdoor dining experience for everyone. The evening was such a success, that Claire is planning to host another hog roast night in future with one of Hog Roast Newtown’s Platinum machines taking pride of place in her outdoor dining area!
