Baby showers are becoming an increasingly popular event across the whole of the UK. Prospective parents like to take the opportunity to celebrate the new life that they have created together. Hog Roast Red Cross’s latest clients, Preston and Maria, wanted a special baby shower to celebrate their baby. They worked closely with the team to come up with a menu that would be delightful for them and their 24 guests.
The catering package that Preston and Maria made with the team was based around the Hog Roast Red Cross teams Gourmet Delivery Service. This catering package meant that all the dishes for the buffet would be made by Catering Manager Ben at the Hog Roast Red Cross kitchens.
The food was prepared from scratch by Chef Ben and delivered to the clients house where the party was taking place at 1pm. The food arrived in large serving trays, completely covered so that they were hot and survived the short journey from the kitchens to the client’s home. Along with delivering the exceptional buffet Chef Ben also took the clients high quality disposable crockery and cutlery for their guests to use.
The menu for the buffet was tasty and full of variety. There was a lot of dishes including vegetarian and vegan options of grilled vegetable wraps, BBQ pulled jackfruit and couscous. That was not all however! Also, on offer at the buffet was meaty marinated spare ribs and Thai chicken kebabs, alongside these meaty treats there was an assortment of sauces and dips as well as a large basket of soft wraps. The final part of the buffet consisted of crunchy coleslaw, Green leaf salad and skin on potato wedges.
When friendly Chef Ben delivered the piping hot dishes of food clients Preston and Maria were delighted. They could serve the tasty treats straight away, as they were all hot and ready to be eaten!
The clients later contacted the team to pass on their thanks for their hard work. The event had been a great success.
