May is here which means a bank holiday is just around the long-awaited corner! However, you are planning to celebrate a day off work, with friends, family or just a chilled out well-deserved rest we can guarantee your bank holiday will be made that bit more delicious with the addition of a Hog Roast Wisbech dinner!
We received a call back in April from Sarah who was looking for the perfect way to make the most of her bank holiday and decided a Hog Roast Wisbech meal would be the best way to do that. Ideally Sarah had been wanting us to provide one of our classic Hog Roast Wisbech BBQs. Our BBQs really are out of this world as we are able to cook everything on our state-of-the-art machines and can provide a whole host of flavours and meats not to mention salads and accompaniments for your guests to enjoy. Unfortunately, the weather was not forecast to be great with heavy rain and winds predicted. Rather than cancelling we were able to offer Sarah some alternative options. Just because her guests would be inside didn’t have to mean we couldn’t still cook outdoors. We always make sure to pack a gazebo with us and our machines are so durable that we can cook in any weather!
Sarah was pleased to hear this but decided to change her menu anyway to a heartier whole roasted hog and accompaniments as she thought this would better suit the weather conditions and help to keep everyone warm. Of course, a whole roasted hog is our speciality here at Hog Roast Wisbech and so we didn’t mind one bit and our chef started sourcing the ingredients right away!
When the bank holiday arrived, we were all set for a rainy day and huddled around our hog roasting machine to keep warm. In typical British weather fashion, the day turned out to be a scorcher! It’s a good job our Hog Roast Wisbech is delicious no matter what!
