Hog Roast Littleport is often asked to cater private parties, where we help our customers and their guests to celebrate special occasions including birthdays, engagements, christenings, retirements, anniversaries and much more. We’re also often asked to provide the catering for weddings and corporate events too, and there’s no occasion that a hog or spit roast isn’t suitable for. Nevertheless, you may be surprised that we don’t only cook hog and spit roasts for any kind of event or party that we cater but we’ve spent many years making sure that everyone can eat our food, so we also have a whole host of other dishes on offer as well.
We use fresh, quality, local ingredients to make our food, and that’s whether we cook you a hog roast, spit-roasted meat such as turkey, chicken, lamb or beef, a barbecue or something altogether different. Hog Roast Littleport is proud to offer dishes to suit different palates, appetites and diets, so regardless of whether you want a simple menu with one main course provided or an intricate menu consisting of various courses, preceded by several of our handmade canapés and including vegan and gluten-free options, for example, we will do you proud.
Hog Roast Littleport recently catered Jeff’s corporate event at his business premises, where we cooked a hog roast to feed most of the sixty guests but also made sure to provide options for both special diets and bigger appetites. Jeff asked us to make pigs in buns out of a traditional hog roast, which is undoubtedly our most popular way to serve one, but he also needed a vegetarian option for several guests. While we have several tasty possibilities, most of our customers treat their vegetarian guests to our amazing veggie skewers, which feature halloumi cheese and several vegetables grilled to perfection and served together with pitta bread and our Tzatziki dip, and this is just what Jeff asked for on this day too.
On the day of Jeff’s party, our team wowed his guests with the centrepiece hog roast but also with the additional food provided of sweet potato wedges, homemade coleslaw, a tomato and mozzarella salad and the veggie skewers, and by the end of service, everything we had freshly made had been devoured with absolute relish.
