Our Hog Roast St Neots catering team this week comprised of husband and wife team, Ben and Beth, assisted by Beth’s younger brother Jay (a hog roast chef in the making!) as they headed out to their first event of the week. We had been enlisted to provide the wedding breakfast for Betheny and Gary’s wedding which was being held at the lovely Renhold village hall. We had been briefed to expect one hundred guests in attendance and the newlyweds had asked us to serve our main course up at 6pm which would give everyone plenty of time to get over to the venue and have a few drinks before the meal itself.
For this special occasion we planned an exceptional menu to ensure that Betheny and Gary would have everything they had hoped for in terms of the catering. That meant lots of delicious hearty food and something for everyone including both vegetarians and vegans and those with dietary restrictions. Hence we decided to go for our classic roast hog with all the trimmings along with gluten free bread rolls and a homemade vegetarian alternative. We even made sure the children would be pleased with some sausage rolls that our team had made from scratch along with some roasted new potatoes and lots of seasonal vegetables and salads.
