To celebrate getting a promotion at work, Sarah wanted to host a celebration with her friends to mark the occasion. Sarah has worked hard at her company for many years and was recently promoted to a managerial role, which comes with more responsibilities and a higher salary- so why not spend some of it on a great event and a tasty menu from Hog Roast Godmanchester! For the cocktails and canapés event, Sarah hired a local bar for the venue as they would be ideal for providing classic and speciality drinks for the evening. There was also plenty of room for our team to provide catering and enough tables for the 50 guests to sit comfortably.
As the event began, the guests were served a selection of canapés as they arrived at the venue. This included mini fish and chips, duck breast, fresh salmon, an Indian selection, and mini pizzas. The canapés set a wonderful tone for the evening and went down a treat with the guests!
Once the guests were seated and had enjoyed a drink or two, Hog Roast Godmanchester served a classic slow-roasted hog, alongside all of the trimmings. The hog was accompanied by seasonal vegetables and roasted baby potatoes to create a well-rounded and delicious meal.
The menu ended with a delicious dessert course, including fresh fruit salad and chocolate torte. This was a great way to complete the meal and allowed the guests to enjoy the rest of their evening!
