With one of our tasty standalone menus, Hog Roast Linton can wow all of your guests with something a little bit different, and if you also need options for special diets, just let us know when you book and we can assist you in choosing the best ones to suit vegans, vegetarians or those with intolerances or allergies to particular foods. We have four standalones on offer, including our Southern Slow Roast, Loaded Fries, Alfresco and Traditional Barbecue, and this blog lets you know more about the latter, now that we’re heading towards summer and better weather.
Our Hog Roast Linton Traditional Barbecue is a feast of meats and sides, as you get to enjoy four types of meat as well as salad, coleslaw and chips, and they’re accompanied by a selection of rolls and wraps (both white and wholemeal and we can also provide gluten-free rolls on request). We prepare the meat on the day of your party or event and then barbecue to perfection our chef’s own gourmet sausages, British beef burgers that are handmade, marinated spare ribs and chicken kebabs, and they’re all cooked in front of you, filling the air with delicious meaty aromas and a sight for sore eyes.
Meanwhile, our talented team also freshly prepare your side dishes and in terms of cold ones, that’s a Greek salad which is full of juicy plum tomatoes, crisp cucumber, fine green and black olives that we marinate in extra virgin olive oil and lovely slabs of Greek feta cheese, as well as our homemade coleslaw. For a hot side, you get to choose this in advance when you book, and it’s either sweet potato fries, chips or a combination of both if preferred instead. Once everything is perfectly prepared and cooked, we serve on wooden bamboo crockery and provide wooden cutlery and quality napkins, and when you and your guests have devoured everything in sight, we clear away – so you don’t even have to do the dishes!
