Our professional chefs and catering assistants are more than happy to serve at both informal and formal functions, at just about any venue, as our trusty hog roast machines are easily manoeuvred and gas-powered, so we can cater just about anywhere you can think of. We can also cater for any number of guests that you have in mind, whether that’s a handful of people or several hundred, so don’t think that we can’t provide tasty, homemade food for a party that’s just for a few guests, as we can and often do.
When Christopher asked Hog Roast Prescot to cater a small, informal get-together at home with a few friends, he was concerned that we wouldn’t be able to cook a hog roast for them, so was very happy to hear that we could. To celebrate a big win, Christopher wanted to treat seven of his friends to our delicious pigs in buns, cooked at home in his back garden by yours truly. Having used our catering services before for his corporate events, Christopher knew that cooking a traditional hog roast for him and his mates would result in truly tasty, mouthwatering pigs in buns, made fresh from scratch by our hard-working team (just myself, on this occasion), and he couldn’t wait to share them with his friends too.
On the afternoon of the party, I made my way to Christopher’s home to set up our equipment in the back garden. Once the gazebo and serving table were assembled, I cracked on with preparing the meat and before long, it was sizzling away at a low temperature for hours on end. I’d brought along a small hog for this get-together, and it would provide pigs in buns for all of the guests, plus seconds and more.
By 7pm, the hog was perfectly roasted and rested, and Christopher’s friends had all arrived to the fabulous aromas created and to watch the theatrics of me carving away. Soon after, I was busy serving our famous pigs in buns, Hog Roast Prescot style, with our own homemade apple sauce and stuffing, and satisfying the hunger of all eight people.
