Another year, another wedding for Hog Roast Brampton! What better way to begin the new year than by celebrating the union of a couple in love, with all of your family and friends.
Rachel and Adam had been engaged for coming up to three years now and it was somewhat of a running joke in the family whether they would actually tie the knot. So, when the clock struck midnight on new year’s eve, they made a resolution that 2019 would be the year. Remarkably they managed to plan and organise a whole wedding in under a week thanks to friends of friends and work contacts coming through with things such as the venue and the decor. Rachel’s family had been customers of Hog Roast Brampton for years now and so we were more than happy to help out with the catering thanks to a last-minute cancellation.
For the venue, they were using a friend’s holiday home set amongst the rolling hills of the countryside. Luckily it still had all the Christmas lights up which helped to give it a romantic feel for the wedding. On our side, we were preparing our traditional Hog Roast Brampton whole roast hog to be served in freshly baked bread rolls. With the short notice, this is all we could offer but we assured the couple that our hog roast rolls are what we are known for- and with good reason! By cooking the meat for several hours, we are able to get the most perfectly succulent meat that just melts in the mouth. Paired with our homemade applesauce and freshly baked rolls you are certainly in for a treat. Our chef will always go above and beyond to ensure you have the most delicious topping for your hog roast rolls; crispy crackling. This is made by carefully scoring the meat and adding salt before roasting and is certainly the cherry on top of the cake in the world of hog roasting.
The wedding went off without a hitch thanks to everyone’s contributions. Congratulations Rachel and Adam, we just know 2019 is going to be your year!
