A 50th birthday with big balloons, big laughs and a big Hog Roast Melbourn buffet!

Hog Roast Melbourn’s latest event was a very special 50th birthday party. Birthday Girl and Client Anita wanted a very special, very tasty buffet for her and her 20 party guests to enjoy!

The Hog Roast Melbourn team were charmed by Client Anita’s big ideas for a wonderful birthday party and were delighted to be part of her happy party. Birthday girl Anita worked with the team to put together a buffet menu that would be full of delicious dishes.

Hog Roast MelbournOn the day of the birthday party Chef Ben arrived at the Community Centre venue for the event several hours before the 7pm serving time. He was given plenty of space to set up the cooking equipment and the serving table, he then got on with creating every delicious platter of perfection for the buffet.

As well as providing Chef Ben to cook the food and help serve at the buffet, the catering package Client Anita created with the help of the Hog Roast Melbourn team included the use of wooden crockery and cutlery.

The buffet was full of tasty treats, but the one that Client Anita was most excited about was the Classic Hog Roast, this was a succulently slow spit roasted pig that was served with crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and apple sauce. Alongside this dish there was a platter of BBQ Pulled jackfruit, grilled vegetable skewers and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. But the buffet still had plenty of other treats on offer! There was Chefs choice of 3 fresh salads, these were all delicious, colourful, healthy salads that were a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Finishing off the buffet was lots of piping hot jacket potatoes and a basket of soft rolls.

When Client Anita saw the buffet her smile could light the night sky, she and her guests had lots of lovely food to enjoy! They had a very good feed up.

After the guests had had enough Chef Ben quietly tidied away, all the rubbish was taken away and disposed of safely by the Hog Roast Melbourn team. The venue was left exactly as it was when Chef Ben arrived.

The party had been great fun for all involved, and Client Anita had a wonderful party.
