This weekend it was another wedding for Hog Roast Burwell. I’ve personally lost count of how many weddings our team has catered for now, but we still enjoy each and every one! It’s always a pleasure to be chosen as wedding caterers too as it’s such a big day for the couple and we want to do our bit to make sure everything goes as perfectly as possible. In addition to this we always like to make sure that the couple have no extra stress to deal with in the run up to the wedding, so our expert Hog Roast Burwell team will always go the extra mile to organise everything and leave you at ease – it’s what we do best!
For Lilly and Dan’s big day they had asked us to provide our southern slow roast menu as they had trouble deciding just which of our meats they wanted to go for. This way they get to sample a variety of dishes all cooked freshly on site and packed with plenty of flavour. The dishes they chose were BBQ Pork Butt, Texan 24 Hour Beef Brisket and for extra measure, Cajun Spiced Whole Roast Chickens. In addition to this they also requested our traditional wedding welcome service of welcome drinks followed by canapes and all finished off with us serving the wedding cake. This was set to be a day to remember!
After arriving at the venue bright and early we were all set up and began cooking. As we like to prepare everything freshly on site we like to arrive a few hours early as we find that meat is best slow roasted in our machines and this way we can ensure everything is ready on time. It also means we get to witness the venue transformed into a beautiful wedding hall adorned with lights and autumnal flower garlands.
In no time at all the wedding was over and we had a hundred people to serve our Hog Roast Burwell too…
