Known as the Alfresco Menu, this recent addition to our portfolio is one that we’re particularly excited to introduce, as it is set up to provide the perfect catering solution for all sorts of events and celebrations.
To create what we’re sure will soon be recognised as the ultimate, open-air group dining experience, Hog Roast Chesterton has taken some of the best bits from across our most popular menus and fused them together; resulting in a comprehensive meal that we just know you’ll love!
Enjoy beautiful assortments of deli meats, rich Italian cheeses, sundried tomatoes and fresh olives dressed in balsamic vinegar and olive oil with hearty slices of homemade artisan bread; served atop our eco-friendly bamboo boards for a classic, rustic moment. Our savoury platters are every bit as tasty as they look and sound – and in our experience, guests thoroughly enjoy the freedom of being able to help themselves to a pre-buffet spread.
Following the stunningly arranged starter, you’ll be treated to one of our signature, rotisserie-cooked pigs with all the trimmings. Think deliciously tart applesauce, crisp and bubbling crackling and savoury sage and onion stuffing paired with luscious, fork-tender carvings of juicy pork. Now, doesn’t that sound irresistible? Hog roasts are what we do best here, and we guarantee that you won’t be let down by the results!
To complement the hog, (which as we all know, is the star of the show!) in the Alfresco Menu, we’ve also decided to include a selection of freshly made salad options, flavour-rich and gorgeously textured gourmet coleslaw along with warm new potatoes in your choice of seasoning. For those following strict, meat-free diets, we can also provide a tasty vegetarian or vegan option, depending on your needs.
At Hog Roast Chesterton, we understand that the best part of the meal for many of you is the pudding, and so, after chowing down on some beautifully-cooked pork-filled-rolls, we’ll serve a duo of puddings, which (like everything else on the menu) will be served to guests’ tables by expert waiting staff.
