There’s not long to go now until Christmas is upon us, which means if you haven’t already sorted out your festive party plans, then now is the time to do so!
As we inch closer to the big day, Hog Roast Prescot’s catering team gets busier and busier with requests, which have so far included everything from winter markets and office parties to family dinners on Xmas Day and Boxing Day.
We are very much looking forward to taking part in these celebrations and feel very privileged to have been chosen for the all-important responsibility of catering for these upcoming events. Most recently, we were contacted by Danielle, a PTA member from a nearby high school, who wants our help with the Christmas Dance, which is being held in mid-December, just before the schools break up for the holiday season.
As you can imagine, Hog Roast Prescot is very excited about this booking, and we’ve been working alongside Danielle to ensure that this event turns out to be a huge success! To help the client get the most out of the celebrations, our catering manager has offered to create a customised version of our Festive Menu, which Danielle was on-board with immediately.
This spectacular spread will begin with a traditional Christmas lunch, complete with moist and delicious turkey slices, fresh cranberry sauce, and sage and onion stuffing served alongside homemade cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, rich gravy and a medley of seasonal vegetables. Vegetarian and vegan students will be given the option of our BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls with plant-based coleslaw.
This epic spread will include a refreshments table and a buffet of homemade mince pies with warm brandy butter alongside a grazing table of sweet treats that will fit in nicely with the ‘Candyland’ theme of the party, which was voted for by the students.
With Hog Roast Prescot’s help, this event is coming together nicely, and we’ve been told by Danielle that the students are already buzzing with excitement and can’t wait for the day of the party to arrive, where they will get to dance the night away with their pals and tuck into some unbelievably good grub!
