Rebecca is expecting her first baby at the start of 2024 and her best friend organised a baby shower for her to celebrate this December. The shower was planned to take place at a local function room, which would be decorated with a big selection of pink decorations since Rebecca is due to have a baby girl. The party will be a great opportunity for everyone to share gifts with Rebecca, play some party games, and enjoy a delicious meal. Hog Roast Shelford has been hired to cater for this occasion with a delicious main meal followed by a luxurious dessert course. We created the perfect menu for this occasion and came up with an option that would have plenty for every guest to enjoy.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Shelford team arrived at the venue in the morning and began to prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection before being expertly carved by our chef. The sliced pork was served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we provided homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes to create a tasty and filling main meal. Following this, the guests could enjoy a variety of dessert options provided by our team. The dishes included cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, profiteroles, summer pudding, and chocolate torte. This was the perfect way to end the menu and prepare the guests for an afternoon of party games!
